About us

Established in 1982 by Richard Bélanger at the time of the Walkman craze, Disc RSB was dedicated to responding to the rising audio cassette demand.

From audio cassette to CD

Beginning as an audiocassette manufacturer, Disc RSB then inaugurated its CD production service and pressed its first CD in 1996.

In 2000, Disque Americ and Disc RSB merged in order to best serve the Quebec market and ensure the transition from the CD to DVD. The association provides Disc RSB customers an unequalled production capacity, and places Disc RSB at the forefront of technological changes.

In 2001, during the height of the Internet revolution, the CD-Rom became a powerful marketing tool. Disc RSB develops the cut and fan CDs in order to maximize the visual impact of this new marketing tool.

Since 2005, Disc RSB offers micro-duplication of CD-Rs and DVD-Rs and digital printing of a myriad of printed materials. These services allow Disc RSB to offer turnkey solutions in less than 48 hours.

A remarkable entrance

In 2004, Disc RSB makes a remarkable entrance in the virtual world by launching its online promotion site www.postedecoute.ca. This service is one of the best ways to reach Quebec music lovers.

In the same year Disc RSB participates in Merci pour la Chanson, an ADISQ promotional initiative that allows 50 000 music buyers to discover today's young artists.

45tours.ca : radio singles for the digital age

In 2007 Disc RSB launches www.45tours.ca, a radio single digital distribution service. This service enables us to reach more than 73 radio stations in Quebec and French Speaking Canada.
